 #ok so I have this vision of this picture being of John post-Reichenbach #and he’s just returned from the store or something inconsequential but he’s only been gone for a few minutes #and there’s this piece of folded paper sticking out from under the door handle that wasn’t there when he left #and he thinks it’s just some flyer or advertisement but then he when he opens up the paper #he finds something written inside: I’m sorry. #and it says nothing else but it’s in that awkward handwriting that he knows so well from piles of notes that used to be on the kitchen table #and from lists written in permanent marker right on the wall or the table #and he can’t breathe and he feels like his chest is going to explode and he looks around and no one’s there #and he thinks he’s going mad and he stumbles inside and Sherlock’s sitting on the stairs #that’s a Reichenbach reunion I’d be okay with
